The tracks that are already built are a ton of fun but this also allows you to build your own. In addition to the anti-gravity, ice and water take centre stage in some areas while having you try to avoid steering as you make your way across a frozen lake and stay on the track when your car is taken for a flume ride.Īs I mentioned, Forza Horizon 5: Hot Wheels reminds me of riding a rollercoaster in that every climb, dip, bank, and loop has been choreographed so that the boundaries of physics are pushed to their limits but the car will still make it up inclines and won't fall off the track when it comes back down again. Driving on these tracks is thrilling and when you pass through a booster that knocks your gauge over 300km per hour sending you whizzing through the track at insane speeds, you'll certainly get a kick out of it. The scenery is quite a marvel to observe, especially given that this DLC adds anti-gravity, loop-the-loops, death-defying jumps through rings of fire, and upside-down as well as 90°-rotated tracks. These new locations bring stunning visuals through landmarks like a giant waterfall and an erupting volcano surrounded by ice and they make for a nifty contrast with the bright orange roads that intertwine the scenery like a rollercoaster in a theme park. The new map consists of 4 distinct areas: Forest Falls, Giant's Canyon, Ice Cauldron, and a central area that has you driving in the clouds.
